En-Gedi Children’s Home - June 2026 Update
Sending our greetings and love to all of you, our friends and supporters this September. Our En-Gedi family has continued to thrive and daily, absorbing God’s blessings for health, peace and joy. We are all well and grateful to God for all of you who keep us in prayers and thoughts. Where we have had challenges, we have constantly been reminded that God our creator and sustainer is always present with us in all the storms and riding on His wings, we have been victorious. I trust you have the same testimony.
Looking at our children’s pictures recently, my mind went back to the situations in which I found some of them when I went to visit and rescue them. Some were isolated and lonely, filthy, sickly and just there – staring into nothingness. When I later opened my Bible, I saw these words and smiled at them – “God sets the lonely in families….” (Psalms 68:6a). I am amazed and humbled at the way God works. We are one big and happy family – Glory to His Name for giving our children a loving and caring family.
Our social support group has grown to 25 moms, all with one or two challenged children. Although we have not been able to all meet physically, we have, through social media. There are huge challenges with some, but the fact that we are now organized, we will attain our goal – sharing experiences and being each other’s encouragers.
“God is not unjust. He will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continued to help them” Hebrews 6:10
